This week, we’re honored to welcome a delegation from Rio Tinto, one of the world’s leading borate suppliers, for a strategic business discussion. The visit focused on enhancing our supply chain collaboration and exploring new opportunities in enamel frit formulations.
Borax is a key ingredient in enamel frit, playing a vital role in enhancing performance and processing. As a fluxing agent, it lowers the melting temperature, ensuring smooth vitrification and reducing energy consumption during firing. Additionally, borax improves the thermal expansion properties of enamel, preventing cracking and ensuring strong adhesion to metal substrates. It also enhances chemical resistance, durability, and gloss in the final coating.
During the meeting, both teams exchanged insights on market trends, quality standards, and sustainable sourcing practices. Rio Tinto representatives toured our production facility, gaining a deeper understanding of our processes and technical requirements for high-performance borates.
