I. Enamel ball milling
The purpose of enamel ball milling is to mix and pulverize the enamel frit with appropriate abrasives to create a finely ground and evenly distributed water-based enamel slurry suitable for enamel application. Ball milling the enamel frit typically uses a ball mill jar, and a suitable enamel slurry can usually be obtained in several hours.

1.Ball Mill Jar:
A container lined with a high-alumina inner layer. High-alumina balls are now commonly used for grinding. First, fill the jar halfway with milling balls, then add the enamel frit and abrasives until it reaches 3/4 of its volume. Finally, add water, just enough to cover the milling balls and enamel frit. Under these conditions, the ball mill jar achieves optimal ball milling results.
Too many or too few milling balls will reduce ball milling efficiency. Too little material will cause the ball milling particles to accumulate between the ball milling balls, preventing them from ball milling effectively; too much material will take up space, making it difficult for the ball milling balls to roll and reducing ball milling efficiency.
The ideal situation is for the ball milling particles to completely cover the surface of each ball milling ball, forming a thin film between the balls.
