Ready-to-use enamel (RTU) is a kind of enamel powder mixed and milled with other additives according to the requirement of customers. It can be used directly after mixed with some water.

1. Material Ratio:
RTU Powder: 200
Water: 65-70
Aluminum Powder: 35
2. Approval Standard:
a. Fineness: 30 mesh. Pass 100g such powder through a 100 mesh sieve, there
will be 10-20g residue.
b. Appearance: Black brown powder. After firing, the gloss of coating is in
conformity with standard template which is smooth and with no
flaw on surface. When scored there won’t be any drop of chips on coating.
c. Firing temperature: 820-840℃.
3. Test Method:
a. Mill the RTU powder and water in proportion of 205/ 70 by ball mill for 2~3 minutes until it becomes 60 mesh;
b. Add 35g aluminum powder and mill another 2 minutes till it’s 60 mesh again. Keep the consistency for 165~170g/100ml, (1.6~1.7g/cm3).
c. Cover 100-150 micron such enamel on a 1mmⅹ100mmⅹ100mm sheet steel and fire them at 820-840℃ for 2~3 minutes.
4. Introduction:
40~50 mesh black brown powder. Pass 100g such powder through a 100-mesh sieve, there will be 15-20g residue. On producing this powder, the first step is milling self-cleaning enamel-2370 to 20 mesh, then passing 100g such powder through a 100 mesh sieve until 50-60g residue left. Finally mix it thoroughly with additives.
